A corky, leathery first aroma faded quickly under heavy decanting. The bottle then showed young but delicious fruit, pointing to a closed or reductive opening rather than persistent cork taint.

Early Pour is the drink-sooner counterpart to Nightfall Reserve: vibrant, welcoming, and made for the table even while it continues to develop.
Current service note
Open in advance and give the wine a meaningful decant. A recent bottle improved quickly with air and showed much better than its first aromatic impression.
